Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who is known as the iron man of India was a barrister, statesman and an Indian politician. He was elected as the first deputy prime minister of India and was also a senior leader of Indian National Congress.
The reason he is called as the iron man of India because he was the founding father of republic India and played a huge role in countries integration. It is said that when bruisers left India there were total 565 princely states , and each had a dream to become a ruler . Many of the nawabs and kings had already planned to build up their own nation and head their state. Patel provoked every ruler to join free democratic India and also lit the fire of patriotism in them. He gave a commitment to integrate whole India together where everyone has unity in diversity. Patel had a threatening military force which convinced each ruler to assent in India. But there were also some rulers who gravely denied acceding in India like Nizam of Hyderabad, Nawab of Junagarh but somehow sardar managed to forcefully agree them.
Sardar Patel played a huge role in unifying India because of his great wisdom and political tactics and earned the sobriquet of Iron man of India.
