Why we celebrate independence day?

On 15th August independence day is a special day to all indians this is the day when in 1947 we officially free from British rule.Our many freedom fighters fought hard and gave their life to give this free india where we live now ,we as a proud citizen of india give our greetings to freedom fighters and other people who died for our country without having any second thought.I Love my 'India'.

Every year 15th August is celebrated as the Independence Day in India.15th August 1947 was the day when actually our India got freedom from the British rule.Hence,it is the national holiday of India.The two countries India & Pakistan also parted on this date.Every year this day is celebrated with great enthusiasm & patriotism all over India.The prime minister hosts the national flag in Red Fort,Delhi followed by cultural & patriotic activities.
