Parikrama, also known as Pradakshina, is the clockwise circumambulation of sacred beings, as well as the path along which it is done, as practised by Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Jainism. Parikarma of religious deities in a temple, sacred rivers, sacred hills, and a cluster of temples as a sign of prayer are all important aspects of Hindu worship. Various Pradakshina pathways can be found in Hindu temple building. The Parikrama worship practise suggests that we should focus our thoughts and activities on God.
