Will this year IPL have DRS system?

The 2018 season of the IPL will be the eleventh season of the IPL. This season will be held from 7 April to 27 May and will see the return of the two most favorite teams Chennai Super Kings and the Rajasthan Royals after serving two years of suspension for the involvement of their respective owners in the 2013 IPL betting case.

The BCCI is ready to roll out the Decision Review System (DRS) and has given the green signal to introduce the system in the upcoming IPL eleven season. Earlier, the BCCI was not in favour of DRS but for the first time they have introduced this system in this exciting league.

The Umpire Decision Review System is a technology-based system that was first introduced in the test cricket for the sole purpose of reviewing controversial decisions made by the on-field umpires to check whether a batsman is out or not. The system was first tested in an India v Sri Lanka match in 2008.
