In today's world, education is not a luxury that only a few people should enjoy. It is one of the most basic tools people need to build a better future for themselves.
The thing is, education does much more than just teach subjects. It helps people develop skills, think critically, make informed decisions, and understand how they can contribute to society. Without education, many opportunities become difficult to access, whether it is getting a good job, starting a business, or improving one's quality of life.
I think this is why education is considered a fundamental right in many countries. Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. The goal should not be to make education available only to those who can afford it but to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to receive it.
I recently visited an orphanage, and that experience reinforced this belief even more. I was happy to see children actively studying, reading books, and attending computer classes. Despite facing challenges in life, they were still receiving opportunities to learn and develop new skills. It reminded me that education has the power to change lives and create opportunities that might not otherwise exist.
Of course, access to quality education is still a challenge in many places, and there is still work to be done. However, the progress made over the years shows how important society considers education to be.
So, if you ask me whether education is a privilege or a right, my answer would be that it is definitely a right. Every individual deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and create a better future through education.
