How to make Jackfruit Kababs (Kathal Kababs)?

Jackfruit is as tasty as it is healthy. To try something innovative with it, you must try Jackfruit Kababs.


Ingredients:

  • Jackfruit (boiled and smashed): ½ kg
  • Onion (Finely chopped): 3
  • Tomato (finely chopped): 1
  • Lemon juice: 3 tablespoons
  • Cumin powder: 2 tablespoons
  • Coriander powder: 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic-ginger paste: 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin: 1 tablespoon
  • Oil and salt: As appropriate
Method:

  • Heat oil in a pan, and add cumin to it.
  • Add onion, and fry well. After that add ginger and garlic paste.
  • Add tomato, salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, and Garam masala and stir well.
  • Add gram flour and roast well. Add boiled and smashed jackfruit and lemon juice and mix well. Cover it with a lid and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  • When cooled, give the mixture different shapes and deep fry in oil like fritters.  
Enjoy Jackfruit Kababs with ketchup.
