GATE exam is held for undergraduate subjects in engineering and science for admission into the Masters Program and jobs in public sector companies. It is an entrance examination for postgraduate education like Masters of Technology (M. Tech) and Masters of Engineering ( M.E). The paper pattern for GATE consists of Multiple Choice Questions as well as Numerical Answer Questions. The GATE exam consist of 65 questions. You will be given 3 hours to complete your examination. No negative marking for numerical questions. It covers out 27 subjects. In MCQ, 1/3rd marks will be deducted for wrong answers which carries 1 marks, For 2 marks question 2/3rd marks will be deducted for wrong answers. It comprises of total 100 marks.
