The Indian Army inaugurated its first green solar energy plant in North Sikkim. Located at an altitude of 16,000 feet, this 56 KVA plant utilizes vanadium-based battery technology. The project was completed in collaboration with IIT Mumbai and aims to provide renewable energy to troops stationed in forward areas, promoting environmental sustainability.
