The only owl which does not have feathers is known as a barn owl. Its scientific name is Tyto alba. It weighs from 430 to up to 620 grams approximately. Like any other owl, a barn owl is also a nocturnal creature. A barn owl eats up at least one rat per day, but can eat more. A family consisting of a male owl, a female owl and two baby owls, can eat up to a 1,000 rats in a year. Barn owls are very common and can be found anywhere and everywhere possible, however is specially found in the subcontinent of India.
