One important thing to understand is that RLWL tickets generally have a lower confirmation probability than GNWL (General Waiting List) tickets. This is because RLWL confirmations depend mainly on cancellations made by passengers traveling on the same route segment. As a result, fewer cancellations may be available to clear the waiting list.
