The CUET PG application fee is determined by your reservation category and the total number of test papers you select. While the exact 2027 fee notification is pending, you can expect it to follow the NTA's most recent (2026) fee structure, which covers the base cost for up to two test papers:

Category

Base Fee (Up to 2 Papers)

Each Additional Paper

General (UR)

₹1,400

₹700

OBC-NCL / Gen-EWS

₹1,200

₹600

SC / ST / Third Gender

₹1,100

₹600

PwBD (Persons with Disabilities)

₹1,000

₹600

Centres Outside India (NRI)

₹7,000

₹3,500

(Note: Applicable banking processing charges and GST will be levied over and above these fees).

How to Pay the Application Fee:

NTA strictly accepts application fees through online mode only. You can easily complete the transaction using the integrated payment gateways on the official portal via:

  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, etc.)

  • Net Banking

  • Debit Card / Credit Card

Expert Warning (Handling Payment Failures):

Payment gateway timeouts are incredibly common on the NTA portal, especially if you apply during the last 48 hours before the deadline. If your money is deducted from your bank account but the portal shows "Payment Failed," do not immediately pay again. Wait for at least 24 hours for the payment gateway to reconcile the transaction. Most importantly, your application is NOT considered successful until you generate and download the final "Confirmation Page".

She holds a Master's degree in Education (M.Ed.) from Delhi University and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Jamia Millia Islamia — qualifications that ground her writing in both pedagogical theory and the day-to-day realities of teaching in India. Her work has appeared on platforms including TeacherVision India, Jagran Josh, and Careers360, where she writes for students, parents, and fellow educators who need content built on actual teaching experience — not theory alone. Over a decade of working directly with students across age groups and learning levels has given Tara a practical understanding of how education content should be written — clearly, accessibly, and with genuine awareness of the challenges students and teachers face on the ground. She has taught 1,000+ students, contributed to school curriculum development initiatives, and published 250+ articles on education across digital platforms. She is an active member of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) India. Across all her writing, every recommendation is classroom-tested, every insight comes from direct teaching experience, and every article is held to the same standard she applies in her own classroom — accuracy, clarity, and genuine usefulness for the reader.
