Sports in Japan is considered as an important part lf Japanese culture. The traditional sports of Japan include sumo, martial arts and on the other hand, there are some western spots including baseball and football.

Sumo wrestling is the first and the national sport of Japan. As sumo is a traditional sport, it is not very common in the younger generation. Baseball on the other hand is a new and modern form lf sport which is played mostly in Japan. Martial arts and judo and karate are also some of the known and are enjoyed and acknowledged sports of Japan. These are famous among the tourists.
