According to me, failure holds more significance than success in human life. The more you fall down, the more you learn to balance yourself. Like this, you don’t not only learn to balance, but also to get up each time you fall. If you don’t fall down, you would never learn to get up. If you don’t fail, you’d never know how success tastes.
After all, life is nothing but a journey full of dichotomies –laughter and crying; happiness and sadness; success and failure. We have plethora of examples before us which tell us that we need to pass by thousands of failures to achieve success. And it’s our failures which make our success significant, worth having, and achieving.
The scientist who invented light bulb, Thomas Alva Adison, failed 10,000 times. His views on his failures are worth noting:
“I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”
So failure can be significant if you learn how to take it positively.
