The CUET PG 2027 application form hasn't been released yet, and NTA hasn't put out any official notification for CUET PG 2027 so far. When it does arrive, it'll be released on the official NTA portal.

Based on how the last few cycles have gone, the form is likely to show up in December 2026, with the registration window probably staying open until late January 2027. The exam itself is expected to run sometime around March–April 2027.

When Will NTA Release the CUET PG 2027 Application Form?

If you're planning to appear for CUET PG 2027, start checking the official NTA portal from December 2026 onward.

A lot of students wait until the last moment to fill out the form. I wouldn't recommend that. You can't count on NTA extending the deadline every single year just because it's happened before.

That said, past trends do show extensions happening more often than not. As we saw for CUET PG 2026, the deadline moved from 14 January to 20 January, then got pushed again to 23 January. CUET PG 2025 saw something similar, shifting from 1 February to 8 February. So extensions do happen, but treat them as a possibility, not something to plan around.

What Should You Do When the CUET PG 2027 Form Is Released?

Don't rush into filling out the form the moment it goes live. Here's a rough framework to follow once it's out.

Go to the official NTA portal

Look for the CUET PG 2027 application link directly on the official site. Fake websites that copy the fonts, layout, and overall look of the real portal do exist, so double-check the URL before entering anything personal.

Click on New Registration

Once the window opens, this is where you'll enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email address. You'll then set a password and get a system-generated Application ID.

Log in and fill in your details

After registering, log back in and enter your personal information, category details, parents' details, and academic qualifications. Take your time here. Mistakes at this stage tend to cause headaches later in the process.

Select your preferences

This part matters more than it might seem. You'll choose your target universities, the programmes or courses you want, up to four test papers or subjects, and your preferred exam cities, and these choices directly shape which programmes and universities you're eligible to be considered for.

Upload the required documents

Photos and signatures need to match specific size requirements, which in past cycles meant a passport-size photo between 10 KB and 200 KB and a signature between 4 KB and 30 KB. NTA can adjust these specifications year to year, so check the latest information bulletin before you upload anything.

Pay the application fee

You can usually pay through net banking, credit or debit card, or UPI. Make sure the payment goes through fully before you close out of the application.

Download the confirmation page

Don't skip this. Once you've submitted everything, save the final confirmation page somewhere safe. You'll likely need it again during counselling and admission.

Don't Wait Until the Last Date to Apply

If you're planning to sit for CUET PG 2027, give yourself more time than you think you need. The process involves entering personal and academic details, choosing universities and subjects, uploading documents, and paying the fee, and any one of those steps can go wrong.

If something breaks technically, or you spot an error in what you've entered at the last minute, you might not have time left to fix it. Once NTA puts out the official notification in December 2026, check the details right away and get started early.

What Comes After the CUET PG 2027 Application Form?

At this point you know roughly when the form is expected, what the likely dates look like, and how the application process works step by step.

There's one more thing worth checking before you dive into exam prep: CUET PG 2027 eligibility criteria. This tells you whether you actually qualify for the specific programme or university you're aiming for. Eligibility rules can shift from one admission cycle to the next, so what worked last year isn't guaranteed to apply this time. Before you start preparing in earnest, confirm you meet the latest requirements.
