  1. Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park :- opened in 1937, Spanning around nearly 5,532 acres in the pilgrimage city of Tirupati, in India, it is the largest zoo in Asia. It also has an official presence in the Guinness Book of World Records for raising the world’s largest leopard weighing up to 143kg.
  2. Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Ohio, USA :- it is both generous in land and conservation efforts. More than over nearly 11,000 animals inhabit in 588-acre estate, which is sits along Scioto River’s O’Shaughnessy Reservoir. Over 200 acres have been developed as animal habitats and public spaces. They had raised $3 million for a number of projects regarding the protection of fauna and wildlife.
  3. National Zoological Gardens, Pretori, South Africa :- it impresses the world by its 210 acres, the uniqueness is derived from the estate itself. This national zoo is wholly composed of natural habitat. Some Flat plains are uniquely separated from the steep hills by the Apies River, each enclosure matching the needs of their animals.
  4. Smithsonian National Zoological park:- this is one of the top most zoos in the world, never mind the USA. It was first opened its doors in 1886 as a research and conservation centre, it has continued to prioritise education by offering free entry.
