The biggest win in IPL history in terms of runs was recorded by the Mumbai Indians, who defeated Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) by 146 runs in 2017. Mumbai Indians scored a huge total of 212/3 and then bowled out Delhi for just 66 runs, making it the largest victory margin by runs in the tournament’s history.

In terms of overall dominance, Mumbai Indians have several one-sided wins, but this 146-run victory remains the record. Such matches highlight the impact of strong batting performances combined with disciplined bowling in the Indian Premier League.

The IPL has witnessed many times a team scoring 200+ runs and this trend is going upwards day and day and these days teams easily score 8 or 9 runs per over. The highest score that is scored by a team in the history of IPL is 263 runs by Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors on 23 April, 2013.

Although, no score is safe in IPL, but when a team scores more than 200 runs, the opponent team start losing hope and the other team has high percentage of winning. The same case happened with Delhi Daredevils while playing against Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai Indians scored a mammoth score of 212 runs on the loss of 3 wickets against Delhi Daredevils on 06 May, 2017. In their reply, Delhi Daredevils got all out under 13.4 overs and scored only 66 runs. Mumbai Indians achieved this record victory against Delhi Daredevils by defeating them 146 runs margin. This is the biggest win ever registered by a team in terms of run margin in the history of IPL.
