Gitanjali is a book which is a collection of poems /song offerings which is written by a famous poet, Rabindranath Tagore. Gitanjali is all about the devotion and tells us that the poet is here to sing the songs. Rabindranath Tagore has also won a Nobel Prize for literature on November 14, 1913 for the same boom. Gitanjali is written in the original language that is Bengali and was converted into English by Rabindranath Tagore himself. The main purpose of the poet was to deliver the message to the world about the harmony, love, charity and sacrifice.
