East of Saudi Arabia has a very renowned nation located in the Persian Gulf Known as Bahrain which is formed by 33 islands. Bahrain is called the island of pearls, as it has a rich source of pearl-producing fishing available in Arabian gulfs. Pearl fishing is their most old and basic source of employment due to abundantly availability of pearl fisheries from more than 2000 years.
Within its 707 sq km area, Bahrain has various beautiful beaches, world heritage archaeological sites such as Al Fateh Mosque, Abdullah Al Zayed House for Bahraini Press Heritage, and Kurar House making it a popular tourist destination in Saudi Arabia. Bahrain has a rich culture among the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council countries, lustrous pearls, delicious food which has also attracted tourism and generates its source of revenue.
Bahrain has a different currency known as Bahraini Dinar. With the change in the era in past Bahrain after declining in oil reserves, it has transformed itself to petroleum processing and refining along with an international banking centre in the Middle East. London’s Global Financial Centre Index has named Bahrain as the fastest developing financial centre as it has laid importance to Islamic Banking.
