Why do we celebrate Mother-s Day?

Just ask yourself that can there be any specific day to show love to your eternal love i.e, mother? No. Right! We are always grateful to our mother for allowing us to see the light of this beautiful world.

It is interesting to know that mother's day celebration is done around March or May in different parts of the world. In India, today friends i.e, 9th May, every year we celebrate our sweet, cute mother's day. But wait, you may wonder why only one specific day for showing tribute to mother's love. Right?

Well, there is a history behind the celebration of mother's day. Anna Jarvis is the one who started the celebration of this specific day. She lived in Philadelphia. Her mother with her group of women used to work to encourage friendship and good health. Anna organized some noble services on 12th May 1907 at her late mother's church. So sweet! Isn't it! She unknowingly inspired every state to celebrate mother's day on a specific day.

We may not be able to express our feelings for our mother every day. Well, it's not required as they know that we, children love our mother endlessly. But we do try not to miss this particular day of celebration at any cost. Right?
