Plantationshutters

The plantation shutters consist of a frame fixed permanently to the opening of its window and a shutter panel with hinges inside the shutter frame. The plantation shutter panels are held in place by magnets, which are installed in the shutter frame when the shutters are in place. With each shutter panel articulated in the shutter frame, each one can be opened fully open.

To close them, simply return each shutter to the window. If you have several shutter panels, one panel must be closed before the other. You can easily know which one closes first by examining the edge of each shutter panel and verifying its setting.

When you close the shutters, you usually hear an audible "click" when the magnets are blocked. If you do not hear the sound and its blinds do not remain closed, even after having closed them properly.
Opening and closure covers
First, the slats of fins are called blinds and their closing is different from that of the blinds. Now that the technical details are set, it is quite simple to open and close the blinds of your blinds.

Most shutters have blinds connected to a tilt bar, a small bar located in the center of the shutter that connects all lovers with small staples. A simple pull up or down on the tilt bar opens and closes the shutter flaps.

There are some exceptions. Some shutters have what is called a hidden tilt bar, or invisible tilt bar, in which the shutter controls mechanism, is integrated into the frame or behind the blinds. For most of them, simply take one of the blinds directly and tilt it, and the other blinds will do the same!
