Yes Bank has started its operations from Wednesday, the customers of the bank will now be able to avail banking services as before. Yes Bank wrote on Twitter, 'Our bank services have resumed. You can avail our services. Thank you for your support and patience. ' Significantly, the Reserve Bank had imposed a ban on March 5. Under this, customers were allowed to withdraw up to Rs 50,000 from their account by April 3. The government notified the restructuring plan last week.

From 19 to 21 March, Yes Bank branches will open an hour before 08:30. The bank has extended the working deadline by one hour for its senior citizen customers. This is from 19-27 March 2020. During this time banks will be open from 16:30 pm to 17:30 pm.


On Tuesday, the bank said in its press conference that so far only 1/3 of customers have withdrawn 50 thousand rupees. Yes Bank has said that its ATMs, branches have money as per requirement. The bank does not require additional external liquidity. SBI Chairman Rajneesh Kumar said that SBI will not sell a single share of the bank for 3 years. Apart from SBI, other banks have invested Rs 10,000 crore in Yes Bank. Customers can go to any of the 1,132 branches of Yes Bank across India from March 19 to conduct banking operations.
