Of course, the new generation of phones are much better. So, “ever” becomes quite irrelevant in the question. The latest ones in the market from Apple, Samsung, Google, OnePlus and more will rank at the very top of the list. In the same breath, the upcoming ones will likely supersede the existing ace players.

So, the question is basically which is the best Smartphone in the Indian market right now…

Again, when talking about the “best”, the premium ones will take that crown because they are better in every dimension, be it in looks or performance.

iPhone XS Max, Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Google Pixel 3 XL, OnePlus 6T and few more. These are some of the best smartphones ever made till now.

Now, which of them are better really depends on your exact budget, preference, needs, and requirements. For instance, for those who want a better camera, Google Pixel 3 XL remains undefeated. For the working professionals, Galaxy Note 9 is ideal for working professionals. iPhone XS is perfect if you prefer brand value and high robustness in usage. As for OnePlus 6T, it’s great for those who want the premium phone but at a slightly lower price.

My personal pick is iPhone XS Max. But I also love how incredible Google Pixel 3 XL is.

Also, when comparing a phone to conclude which one is better, it’s always a good idea to segment the market into different budgets.

In the premium segment, for me, iPhone XS Max reigns.

In the mid-range, which usually includes Smartphones priced between Rs 20,000-45,000, Huawei P10 Plus is a great choice. Sony Xperia XZ is a nice as well.

In the budget segment, which is usually less than Rs 20,000, there are many players. Redmi Note 5 Pro, Motorola Moto G6, Samsung Galaxy On8 and more.

In short, there’s no “best Smartphone ever”. There are only ideal Smartphones, that depends on your needs, preferences, and budget.
