Who should apply for CISA certification?

From what I’ve learned, CISA is ideal for professionals working in IT audit, risk management, or information security. It’s not really for complete beginners. A colleague of mine pursued CISA after gaining a few years of experience, and it helped him move into better roles. The certification focuses on auditing and control, so it suits people who want to work in governance or compliance. If you’re already in IT or finance-related roles, it can add strong value. But without basic experience, it might feel overwhelming. So timing matters when applying.
