Coming to the Impact - We know that most of the voters are of between 18–45age group and the extent by which they are active on their social profile has seen a drastic increase in last few years. The partiality of main stream media and selective news publishing are one of the greatest reason for ‘why most of the people leaning towards web media inturn social media’. Nowadays surveys are been done on social channels to create election manifestos. Slowly Slowly every political representative are seen active and taking part in social debate.
BJP win in Loksabha Election of 2014 is one of the best example of Social media impact on Elections in India. Where BJP It cell made a huge impact on vote sharing and popularity of BJP in youth section of Indian society.
The US presidential Election of 2017 is the another example of social media impact on election. Voters has been seen debating, posting and openly supporting different political parties on social channels.
Trust me it wont be wrong if I say ‘ Nowadays the winning of a Political party is largely dependent upon the excellence of their IT cells’
Though its a good sign that people get open space where they can discuss, debate and get direct info of political party's background and manifesto but the problem of authenticity is still remain unchanged.
So, either its a Good Impact or Bad impact but Social me

Social media the biggest platform provided to mass public just a click away, each and every person of many nations are able to access the vast digital world while sitting in their home. Amount of data we get there has created a constant flow of information , even governments are using this platform to create musch easy access for their citizens. But the problem with social media is the legitimacy of data that is provided to the mass public. One can easily say that social media is responsible for polarisation of people.
