Have you ever cooked a delicious food accidently which was not meant to cook that recipe?

Don't know about delicious food, but I once tried making pasta for me and my siblings when my parents were not at home, and ended up setting the pan (and half of the kitchen) on fire.

The accident was easily overcome but I was not allowed in the kitchen after that for a long time.
