ESIC mainly gives medical care like free treatment, hospitalisation and medicines for workers and families.
Many ESIC hospitals and centres now offer mental health counselling and support services to help workers with stress and emotional issues as part of overall health care.
This is part of expanding ESIC’s services under the Social Security Code and health initiatives.
