How many medals Indian wrestlers have won at CWG 2018?

It was a proud moment for India in Common Wealth Games 2018 as in the game of wrestling it sent 12 wrestlers and fascinated all wrestling enthusiasts by returned with 12 medals. The performance of every wrestler was worth appreciating. CWG 2018 became India’s second most successful games reportedly. Following are the feats that India made:

Sushil Kumar won gold (74 kg category)
Bajrang Punia won gold (65 kg category)

Rahul Aware won gold (57 kg category)

Mausam Khatri won silver (men’s 97 kg freestyle)

Pooja Dhanda won silver (women’s 57kg freestyle)

Babita Kumari won silver (women’s 53 kg freestyle)

Vinesh Phogat won silver (Women’s 50 kg category)

Somveer won bronze (men’s 83 KG category)

Kiran Bishnoi won bronze (women’s 76 kg category)

Indian wrestlers continued their legacy of winning medals at CWG 2018, all of 12 wrestlers have won 12 medals at XXI Commonwealth games in Gold Coast, Austria. Each wrestler has won a medal in their respective category and you can say that is 100 percent returns as India wrestlers made us proud with their dominating show at CWG 2018.

Indian wrestlers bagged five gold, three silver and four bronze medals. Indian’s two times Olympic medalist, Sushil Kumar belongs to the wrestling contingent and he again didn’t disappoint us and bagged a gold medal in the men’s 74kg category.
