It was a proud moment for India in Common Wealth Games 2018 as in the game of wrestling it sent 12 wrestlers and fascinated all wrestling enthusiasts by returned with 12 medals. The performance of every wrestler was worth appreciating. CWG 2018 became India’s second most successful games reportedly. Following are the feats that India made:

Indian wrestlers continued their legacy of winning medals at CWG 2018, all of 12 wrestlers have won 12 medals at XXI Commonwealth games in Gold Coast, Austria. Each wrestler has won a medal in their respective category and you can say that is 100 percent returns as India wrestlers made us proud with their dominating show at CWG 2018.


Indian wrestlers bagged five gold, three silver and four bronze medals. Indian’s two times Olympic medalist, Sushil Kumar belongs to the wrestling contingent and he again didn’t disappoint us and bagged a gold medal in the men’s 74kg category.
