When we discuss any big war or fight between two countries in today’s world, we cannot ignore the role of global powers like the USA, Russia, China, and the European Union. These big countries are not just sitting and watching; they are actually the ones who decide how long a conflict will last and who will win. In this current situation, the role of these powerful nations is very complicated but critical to understand.

First of all, the most common way these global powers interfere is by providing weapons and money. For example, if a small country is fighting, a big power like the USA or a European country might send high-tech missiles, tanks, and drones to help them. They say they are doing this to "protect democracy" or "help the weak," but it also helps their friendship with that country. On the other side, countries like Russia or China might support the opposite side by giving them intelligence or cheap oil and gas so their economy doesn't fail because of international sanctions.

Another very big role is played by "sanctions." This is a word we hear a lot in the news. Global powers use their control over the world's banks and trade to punish a country they don't like. They stop that country from selling its goods or using international credit cards. Such action makes life very hard for the common people in that country, and the goal is to force the government to stop the fighting. But many times, these sanctions don't work quickly, and instead, they make things pricier for everyone in the world, including us in India.

Diplomacy is also a tool. These big powers use the United Nations (UN) to pass rules or "resolutions" against each other. But because these powerful countries have "veto power," they often block any real action. This phenomenon is why many conflicts go on for years without a solution.

For us in India, the role of global powers is a big concern. When these big players fight or take sides, the price of petrol and gold goes up in our local markets. India usually tries to stay neutral and talks about peace, but the pressure from these global powers is very high. They want every country to pick a side.

In short, global powers are like the directors of a movie. They provide the money, the script, and the weapons. Without their support, most local conflicts would end very quickly because the fighting countries would run out of resources. But because of global politics and "Geopolitics," these powers keep the fire burning for their own benefit and influence in the world. This is the sad reality of today's global power play.
