When on vacation try to shift your plants indoor if possible and just allow proper ventilation. Check your room temperature before leaving. Make sure that your room temperature doesn't fall below 55 degree F. Increase the air flow in the room. You can keep your fan on at the minimum speed and leave. Try to make a water-wicking cord system so that it water the plants automatically or you may also set up a sprinkler on timer.
