This is not a place to think, but a reality for many schools in India that are experiencing a chronic shortage of teachers. Although the country has three times more schools than China, over 400,000 of its schools have two cooked teachers at one time.

These challenges are now exacerbated by existing restrictions due to COVID-19, especially in remote areas. But, what does it mean for the future of India?

Through Lenovo SmarterEd, students from grades 5 to 12 now choose the subjects they will study, who their teachers will be, and decide when to study, as they like.

Lenovo SmarterEd offers a learning environment with links to e-books and a state syllabus, in addition to the student-teacher interaction with the chat engine. Using cutting edge technology, teachers and students are compared to using an algorithm that looks at their teaching and learning styles.

Lenovo SmarterEd is safer, more accessible, enriching, and a more appropriate learning environment in today's context, where schools across the country have been forced to suspend classes.
