What are the advantages of energy saving light bulbs?

Energy saving bulbs is also known as Compact Fluorescent lamp(CFL) are better than incandescent bulbs. As the name reveals, this bulb uses less energy than ordinary bulbs.

Advantages of energy saving bulbs are:-

Minimum electricity required-It uses minimum electricity at the same time producing the same amount of light. Less energy means less carbon foot print.

Value for money – CFL bulbs are much more costlier than ordinary bulbs. But these bulbs will last for more than one year. On the other hand incandescent bulb’s life span is very short. You have to replace it frequently.

Cheaper – Energy saving bulbs consume lesser electricity. So our monthly electricity bill be reduced significantly.

Good for eyes – These energy saving bulbs come as LED bulbs. Because of that there won’t be stress in our eyes.

Eco-friendly – Light is the main energy consumer in our house. If we change all the bulbs into CFL energy saving bulbs, we will save energy and in-turn reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
