What are the biotic and abiotic resources?

The biotic resources are the living things on the Earth, which includes plants, animals and humans. The abiotic resources are everything else on earth, including water, minerals and gases.

The biotic resources are important because they provide food for humans and animals, they have medicinal properties for humans and they provide oxygen so that we can breathe.

If you take away all of the plants on Earth then there would be no food at all because plants create food through photosynthesis. You would also die from lack of oxygen because plants produce oxygen through photosynthesis too.

Biotic and abiotic both are the factors that makes the ecosystem . Biotic factors are living things such as plants, animals, and bacteria,
on the other hand abiotic factors are non-living things such as water, soil and atmosphere.
