What do you think matters more—web development or digital marketing?

Both matter, but at different stages. Without web development, you don’t even have a product or platform to market. Without digital marketing, no one finds what you built. In my view, development gets you started, but marketing keeps you alive. The balance depends on whether you’re launching or scaling.
