Which currency is highest in the world ?

I would assume you're talking about "highest value".

However, even that is an incomplete question.

The value of currencies is determined in comparison to the currencies of other countries.

For instance, for India, the value of one currency can be the highest. But for some other country, the highest value currency could be something else. (Makes sense?)

Besides, you must also note that the value of currencies fluctuates depending on so many factors, such as inflation, unemployment, and export-import.

So, currencies have no standalone value.

That said, let's take USD as the base value since it's the most popular and accepted currency. Here's a list of currencies that are of highest value against the US dollar:

10. Canadian Dollar

9. Swiss Franc (Switzerland)

8. Euro (European Union)

7. Caymanian Dollar (Cayman Islands)

6. British Pound (UK)

5. Gibraltar Pound (Gibraltar)

4. Jordanian Dinar (Jordan)

3. Omani Rial (Oman)

2. Bahraini Dinar (Bahrain)

1. Kuwaiti Dinar (Kuwait)

There are a total of 180 currencies in the world at present. Their value fluctuates regularly when compared one-on-one with currencies of different countries.

Hope this basic list gave you a fair idea of which is the most valuable currency in the world. (Yes, it's not USD, Chinese Yuan or Pounds like so many of us think!)

Kuwait Dinar is the highest world currency in the world

Kuwait is a small country with enormous wealth. Best value (rate) of its currency is explained by significant oil goods exports into the global market.
