After yesterday’s T-20 match of India against South Africa has made Indian Leggie, Yuzvendra Chahal the Indian bower who has conceded most runs in a T20I. He gave away 64 runs against South Africa on Wednesday. South African batsman went berserk on him and hit seven huge sixes in his quota of 4 overs.
After a fabulous ODI series against Pro-teas nobody was expecting such performance from his side and the yesterday's pitch was expected to help the spinners but on the contrary he failed miserably and his outing under the lights turned into a nightmare when in the 13th over of South Africa’s innings Klassen and Duminy launched an all-out attack on the leg-spinner and scored 23 runs off the over.
Interestingly, Chahal has now the best figures by an Indian bowler in T20Is (6/25) and also the worst. Previously, this record was held by Joginder Sharma, who had leaked 57 runs in his 4 overs against England in 2007.
