Why is a Pakistani passport not valid for Israel?

Pakistani passports bear the writing that it is valid for all countries except Israel. Since 1947, no diplomatic ties could have been established between them owing to ideological differences and Pakistan does not recognize Israel. Initiatives were taken by the Israel’s first prime minister but it was not responded by the Pakistani counterpart.

Pakistan remained a strong supporter of the Arab League on the issue of not recognizing Israel. The country’s economy has to rely a lot on the aid from the Arab countries. However, it does not forbid Israelis traveling to Pakistan. Both the countries exchange information with each other through their embassies located in Istanbul.
