Following his victory over Roger Federer in the quarter-final, I was very high on Stefanos Tsitispas. In fact, I was actually rooting for him in his match against Rafael Nadal. I believe once the likes of Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic -- names that have dominated the game for nearly a decade -- walk down the sunset, it’s players like Stefanos and Dominic Thiem that will become a new wave in Tennis. But Nadal proved his class yet again.

The match, itself, between Rafael Nadal and 20-year old Stefanos Tsitispas, was quite exciting-- at least on paper. In reality, Nadal pretty much reined the game, not facing even a single break point until the very last game. He pulled a 6-2 6-4 6-0 victory, striding to the Australian Open Final rather easily. The win for him came quite a surprise to the spectators and analysts given he’s been struggling with many injuries for quite some time.

Now, if Rafael Nadal Australia Open win-streak continues even in the finals, he will become the first man in the open era to have won each of the 4 grand slams at least twice. And this historic feat might finally settle the ever-going debate of who is the greatest male tennis player of all-time, triumphing Nadal over Federer and Djokovic.

In the Australian Open final, Nadal will either go against Novak Djokovic or Lucas Pouille. I really, really hope and pray it’s Djokovic. He’s the #1 in ranking right now. So, Nadal vs Djokovic would really be a battle for the foremost position, which will make this another showdown between the two of the best a complete historic.

Besides, not to take away any credit from Lucas, but if there’s anyone who can stop Rafael Nadal Australia Open dream, it, very certainly, is Djokovic. (And yes, he’s also my fav ;))
