I’m answering this question for you in reverse. A life of spirituality is a pleasure. Your decision to choose the pursuit of spirituality is definitely an evolution from the pleasure-seeking of this material world. The pleasure-seeking path that you have pursued a long while now, obviously has brought you to disillusionment with your “purpose” in this realm of physical existence. And so you want to know if you continue your pursuit of pleasure-seeking and yet “heighten” your experience of your existence in this realm of earthly pursuits, and still be spiritual.

Happily, the answer is a resounding yes you can pursue a life of “pleasure-seeking” and still experience a fulfilling pursuit of spirituality. Simply because the pursuit of spirituality is a life of pleasure. A blissed-out state of being. A life of spirituality is a life of pleasure, there will be no more seeking, you will no longer be arriving, you will have arrived, spirituality is a state of being. In your pursuit of spirituality you will realize a state of being, where you are “love”, and “being love” and not seeking love. There is no more seeking.
