Does the selection of the highest number of female MPs by PM Modi involve any political conspiracy?

Our current Prime Minister, Narendra Modi knows all the political trends in and out and hence whatever he does and says hold immense importance in the world of politics.

On the last day of Lok Sabha, he stated that this Lok Sabha holds the highest number of female MPs than any previous year. Now, this statement of Prime Minister has naturally attracted many ears, and people are already looking for a hint of some political conspiracy in this comment.
The focus, however, should be on the talks of woman empowerment that have been going on on the national level since quite some time. According to me, it is a straight effect of the efforts made in this direction that we have managed to have more and more numbers of female candidates representing the nation in the Lower House.
Right now, there are 66 women in Lok Sabha which is the highest number from the independence to this date.
So I don’t see any lie, let alone any conspiracy in this statement of the Prime Minister. If India kept developing and progressing in the same way, this number can increase further in the coming years.
