I personally suffered from that situation, but I tried my best and overcame my fears. Things that can help you to feel better in depression:
- Exercise: Take a 15 to 30-minute walk and exercise every day. Try to get yourself to do this. Getting any activity started helps boost your mood.
- Eat healthy foods and drink plenty of water: Some people with depression don't feel much like eating and Some may overeat. Make sure to eat right nothing to eat more or less. Avoid sugary and caffeinated drinks. Eat healthy foods like Dal-Rice, fruits and vegetables, etc. Drink more and more to stay hydrated.
- Express yourself: With depression, your creativity and sense of fun may seem blocked. Do things that you can enjoy to overcome depression.
- Don't overthink: Don't think about negative things that you have faced before. It can feel good to talk through a problem with a caring friend or think positively all the time.
- Notice good things. Depression affects a person's view of things. People feel hopeless. The more you notice what's good, the more good you will notice.
