Go here https://careers.google.com/jobs/
• Enter the role you’re interested in…
• Enter your preferred location …
• Optionally, enter any skill/qualification you have…
You will land on a list of relevant jobs filtered for you.
Go through that list, find the most suitable job and then click on the ‘Apply’ button.
(Courtesy: Google Design)You will likely land on the submission page, which will also provide you a fair warning-cum-information: “You can submit up to 3 applications every 30 days.” So, you want to be careful about the kind of jobs you’re applying for because you can only do that three times in a month.
The application would ask for your general information, education, and work experience.
It would ask you to submit your resume.
Also, there would be a space to submit your cover letter. Now,this would usually be completely optional. So, many applicants do not fill this. Even Google will tell you “We think your work speaks for itself, so there's no need to write a cover letter.” BUT, BUT, if you can come up with a creative and unique cover letter, don’t leave this blank. This is an opportunity to stand out the crowd and provide the recruiters a closer look in your head. So, again, do not leave this blank if you can come up with a creative cover letter.

And voila, you just applied for a job in Google.
Now, before you go and do this, here’s something I would like to mention…
(This isn’t to discourage you!)
Getting a job at Google isn’t easy. It’s a dream workplace for millions of people. Assumingly, thousands of people apply for the jobs here.
Meaning, if you don’t have an exceptional educational background and work experience, you will find it extremely difficult to get a job in Google.
(Courtesy: Livemint)This is where the non-traditional ways of applying for jobs come in the way.
There are many creative and interesting ways how you can stand out the crowd of applicants, capture the attention of recruiters at Google and crack a job there. Stories of people getting a job at Google via these non-traditional approaches often make it to the news.
Off the top of my head, here are some of the things you can try:
• Connect with the key people at Google via social media (preferably Twitter and LinkedIn). Engage with them. Network. And become friends – or at least ensure they recognize your name. Knowing someone inside the company can make getting job interviews and preferenceseasier.
• Have a very large social media following. (This can work especially if you’re applying for marketing related job.)
• Create something amazing – software, website, app. (This can work if you’re applying for development or technical job.)
The key here is to do something big and amazing that proves your expertise/skills and grabs the attention of the Googlers. If you’re really as good as you say you are, you can certainly figure out the ways how to do that.
The traditional way of applying for a job in Google via its website includes a play of luck. Not only you have to fill your application interestingly but you must also pray that other applicants aren’t as good as you.
But when it comes to non-traditional ways of applying for the job in this IT mammoth, it all comes down to your hard work, creativity, and persistence. And this is much more controllable than luck.
So, unless you have an exceptional portfolio, do not even bother applying for a job in Google the traditional way. Opt for creative, out-of-the-box ways.
Hope this answer helps!
