For all those who are suffering from stress due to exams, here are some tips to deal with the exam stress -

1) Don't sit continuously for hours to study. Take breaks and participate in fun things that will help your nerves to relax.

2) Exercise and get outdoor.

3) Speak to someone about your exams and stress. It will help your mind to relax.

4) Intake healthy diet. It will help to reduce anxiety caused due to the exams.

5) Focus on one subject at a time. Don't just jump into all the subjects altogether.

6) Take regular test for assessment. This will give you a clear picture of how much you know. Hence, reducing the pressure.

Managing and overcoming exam stress in the proper manner starts with serious preparation and effective time management skills. You must plan a realistic and reasonable study plan that divides your various subjects into small and manageable chunks, and simultaneously, gives you scheduled breaks to let your mind get some time to relax and recharge. It is also essential that you take proper amounts of rest each night, consume nutritious foods, and remain properly hydrated because both your mind and body must be properly fueled to perform in their best and most efficient manner. Mindfulness or relaxation techniques like deep breathing or meditation can be really helpful in managing stress and achieving your calm zone. It is also a good idea to avoid cramming the night before an exam; instead, form a habit of revising key points and key concepts repeatedly over a period of time. Moreover, seeking assistance and discussing with friends, family members, or a counselor can be really helpful because it might take some pressure off you and give you valuable insight into things. Finally, never forget the fact that giving your best in any given situation is more than enough and should be regarded as an achievement worth it.
