How to Face Board Exams Confidently and Score Better?

Board exams are the most scaring phase of every Indian high schooler. This is because of all the things that they have been told about these exams. However, once they sit through these exams they realize that board exams are just like any other exams. Undoubtedly these exams require more attention and hardwork because of the pattern of paper setting and checking. There are some basic tips that are to be kept in mind during board exams.

1. Do not take stress. Stress is the major cause of panic attacks and poor performance. Therefore try to relieve as much stress as possible.

2. Sleep for at least 7 hours a day. Lack of sleep reduces retention power and learning speed. Thus try to sleep for at least 7 hours.

3. Take small 15-20 minute breaks during studies. These are very important. A 15 minute break after 2 hours of study replenishes the stamina and concentration level.

4. Make notes while studying and revise from those notes later.

5. Try to study in a well lit room. Make sure that the room has proper ventilation system.

6. Revision is very important before any exam. Even a 1 hour revision will help you remember a lot of portion which would otherwise be forgotten.

7. Do not care how your friends are studying and try to follow your own routine.

8. Prepare a rigid timetable and try to follow it as much as possible.

9. Eat healthy meals and drink a lot of water.

These are a few things to be kept in mind which will help you go through your board exams without stress.
