How to find best sunscreen for indian skin

| Posted on

1. Concentrate on the SPF Factor
When it comes to SPF, it might feel like you're staring at every number under the sun (sun protection factor). According to AAD study, an SPF of 30 protects against 97 percent of the sun's rays, while an SPF of 50 protects against 98 percent.

2. Examine Your Rays

Make sure your sunscreen says "wide spectrum" on the label, which means it prevents both UVA and UVB rays. The SPF factor, on the other hand, only protects against UVB; using a sunscreen with UVA-blocking compounds is the only method to provide UVA protection.

3. Be aware of your ingredients
Sunscreen must include one or more of the following UVA-blocking compounds to provide UVA protection:
• oxybenzone

• octinoxate

• avobenzone

• zinc oxide

• titanium dioxide
• sulisobenzone

4. Keep an eye out for water resistance.

Unless you're confident you won't be in the water, you should obtain this assurance. Don't forget about perspiration, which may wash sunscreen away as well. If you're going to be kayaking, riding a bike, or doing anything else where you'll be sweating and exposed to a lot of sunshine, use a waxy sunscreen that will stay place. Instead, put on a light-weight overshirt.
