Cups are transformed "Aalo Tikki", arranged with seasoned pureed potatoes. Potatoes are formed into cup shape, overflowed with refined flour and are pan fried. Hot stuffing is set up with sweet corns and peas. Saucer is set up with singed or toasted bread. Introduction of this formula is likewise energizing, Keep the seared plate on a serving plate, and put your singed cup on it. Fill the cup with the readied stuffing and top it with cream. We have always heard about potato Tikki, and many of us savour it as our favorite street food. But not all know that Tikki can be made with sweet potato as well. This tastes a bit sweet, and that’s what makes it unique.

Here’s how it is made.

Ingredients:

• Sweet potato (boiled): 2
• Potato (boiled): 2
• Ginger (grated): a small piece
• Green coriander leaves (finely chopped): 1 tablespoon
• Green chili (finely chopped): 2
• Black pepper powder: ½ tablespoon
• Cumin powder: ½ tablespoon
• Salt: According to taste
• Edible oil for deep frying

Method:

• Peel potatoes and sweet potatoes and mash them.

• Put the mashed material in a container and mix salt, cumin powder, black pepper powder, grated ginger, green chili, and coriander with it.

• Heat the edible oil enough for deep frying in a pan.

• Give small tikki shape to the mashed material and deep fry all the tikki pieces in the oil.

• Deep fry until they turn crisp and golden brown and then keep them separately in a plate.

• Serve hot with tea or ketchup.
