We often eat Tandoori Momos outside in restaurants or cafes but hesitate to prepare it at home because they would be very hard to make and would consume a lot of time and effort. Also, we fear that we won’t be able to make them as delicious.
But we can easily make Tandoori Momos in at home. It’s best if you have a tandoor at your home, but even if you don’t have, a microwave oven would do.

Ingredients -
Flour - 250g
Oil – 2 table spoons
Salt - according to taste
Cabbage - 1 large, finely chopped
Cottage Cheese - 200 gms
Red chili pepper – ½ tablespoon
Green Chilies - 3-4
Method -
- Take flour in a vessel, pour some oil and then pour water and knead well.
- After kneading the dough, cover it for 10 minutes.
- To make the filling of Momos, add oil in a pan, heat it, and add cabbage and cottage cheese in it. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on a light flame.
- Now add red chili, black pepper and salt and turn the gas stove off.
- When the filing cools down, take the dough and make small, hollow balls of it.
- Now fill the filling, let the dough come out of the face and keep itaside.
Method to Marinate:
Ingredients:
Curd - a cup
Salt - a teaspoon
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tablespoon
Rank of red food – 1/2spoon
Red chili powder - 1 tablespoon
Garam Masala - 1 Tablespoon
Lemon juice - 1 spoon
Coriander - Half a Bowl
Method -
- Put curd in a vessel and mix all the spices mentioned above.
- Raw Momos which we had already prepared, put them in the marinet and let it remain for 3 hours in it.
- Now after the interval, heat your oven well.
- Let the momos cook 20-25 minutes well.
