India has always succeeded in each and every genre. When it comes to women, India shines brighter. India recently beat the opponent Pakistan team by 107 runs in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022. The match took place in Mount Maunganui on Sunday. It is one of their biggest achievements in their career and the best way to start this campaign. In the toss, India chose to do batting and Smriti Mandhana opened the match and scored 52 runs. In 50 overs, India tried their best to score 244/7 runs in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2022. In the match, Mithali Raj gave an outstanding and unexpected performance after a long time. She is the first woman in India’s women's cricket team to appear in six world cups and the third one too after Sachin Tendulkar and Javed Miandad. Not only Mithali Raj but also, Sneha Rana and Pooja Vastrakar played well too and they were the ones to boost up the game.
The rival team in the 2022 women’s cricket world cup i.e. Pakistan also found it very hard to beat Rana and Vastrakar. Pakistan on the other hand managed to score 137 all out and that in 43 overs which is a great achievement for India Women’s Cricket Team. The match was so interesting that it already made the heartbeats of the players and the audience high. As soon as Shafali Verma got out in third over, the team was under pressure on how much they can continue the match. Till now, India’s Women Cricket played and won 11 matches.
