In the recent past years, politics in Gujarat has seen quite a lot of new and young faces, and Alpesh Thakor is one of them. By initiating some social movements Thakor established himself as a political personality and thanks to Congress, he became the MLA of Radhanpur in the previous elections.

Alpesh Thakor, now, is aiming higher and aspiring to reach the Parliament. In this, he is being supported by BJP politics. Reportedly, BJP has given him a ticket for the Lok Sabha elections 2019 and has also ensured him a seat in Lok Sabha. Due to this, Alpesh Thakor is also in the line of leaving Congress and joining BJP.
But the question is, is it that easy to win a Lok Sabha ticket from BJP? His supports are naturally, not happy with his decision of leaving Congress for BJP. Even Congress is trying its level best to make him stay so that he doesn’t lose the seat he can get with Congress.
BJP’s sole motive, however, is not only to win Congress’s seats. In my opinion, there is some higher motive for which it is gathering so many MLAs. Only time will tell whether Alpesh Thakor is joining BJP or not, but one thing is certain, the public has clearly seen how its chosen leaders change minds and faces.
