Proceed with caution. It has a comedogenic rating of about 2, meaning it’s unlikely to clog pores for many, but it can for those with very oily skin. If you're prone to breakouts, stick to lighter oils like jojoba or squalane.

Apricot oil is a lightweight, non-comedogenic oil rich in vitamins A and E, which can nourish and moisturize the skin without clogging pores. For oily or acne-prone skin, it may help balance oil production and soothe inflammation, but individual reactions vary. Medical treatments like topical retinoids, salicylic acid, or benzoyl peroxide are often more effective for controlling acne. Always patch-test apricot oil first and consult your doctor before adding it to your skincare routine.
