No, Chandrayaan- 2 is a partial failure. It has crash- landed on the surface of the moon. This mission is of Rs 978 crores which failed its objective after the lander ceased communication to the ground stations at an altitude of 2.1 km from the surface of the Moon. The Chandrayaan-2 mission began hitting all the right chords in the beginning, but the problem arrived in the last phase of the mission where the lander and rover were supposed to react the lunar surface.
